Creating A Trello Board
To create a Trello board, you need to log in to your Trello account.
After you’ve logged in, click ‘Boards’ on the left hand column. From there, you can choose a template for your Trello board.
After you’ve created your Trello board, you can create a board of 4 lists of cards typically heading
- Brainstorm
- To do
- Doing
- Done
Every card you create in a list represents a task to do in that list. You can add as many cards as you want to each list. Click on the card and you can
- Add a title
- Write a description
- Invite your team member to a specific card
- Set a due date
- Include a checklist
Adding the team member to a specific card for me is the most valuable tool. That team member can see straight away when they login to Trello what task is assigned to them.
For example, I have a social media assistant. I create a card inside the Trello board for that specific task to do. Then I specify the time, date, and content to be included in the post.
